Beanbag Ditties CD

Beanbag Ditties is the third in a series of CDs and Songbooks, which uses song and dance to teach children exercises which integrate the two hemispheres of the brain, improving concentration, co-ordination, reading, writing and memory.

Beanbag Ditties is the third in a series of CDs and Songbooks, which uses song and dance to teach children exercises which integrate the two hemispheres of the brain, improving concentration, co-ordination, reading, writing and memory. The ditties were written for all ages and the techniques are of benefit to all people. Two bean bags come with this CD for immediate results.

The Beanbag Ditties are simple melodies and tunes to be sung whilst performing the Beanbag Games and activities. The games and activities are illustrated and explained inside the front cover are a fun way to improve co-ordination by integrating the Primitive and Postural Reflexes.

The Primitive and Postural Reflexes, sometimes referred to as the Infant Reflexes, are involuntary movements performed by infants. They are triggered by head/neck movements and sensory (touch, visual and auditory) stimulation. Through the reflexes the infant develops from a helpless, immobile baby, into a walking, running, jumping, talking, upright human. Reflexes produce movements which the infant “practices” until he/she learns to perform them at will and voluntarily.
